Arkansas man injured on drilling site in Rhome, Texas

FORT WORTH –John David Hart of the Law Offices of John David Hart of Fort Worth and Simpson, Boyd & Powers of Decatur have filed suit on behalf of 29-year-old Larry Mullins, Jr., who was crushed by oilfield equipment while a drilling rig was being moved onto a location in Wise County, Texas.

On July 17, 2008, Mullins, who works for Nabors Drilling, was at a drilling site operated by EnCana Oil & Gas (USA), Inc., in Rhome, Texas. He was injured when a truck moving oilfield equipment pinned him, resulting in a crushed pelvis and other internal injuries. He was airlifted to JPS Hospital in Fort Worth. The truck belonged to Fowler Transportation, LTD. The operator of the lease was EnCana Oil & Gas (USA), Inc.

The lawsuit was filed in Wise County, Texas on behalf of Larry Mullins, his wife Amy and their children, Grant and Gabrielle against Fowler Transportation, Ltd. and EnCana Oil & Gas (USA), Inc.
